WHEN TO GO

May - September

PRICE FROM*

IDEAL LENGTH

22 DAYS

A journey for travellers who’ve seen the headlines and want the story behind them. This one threads together the contrasts that make Australia interesting: a creative, ever-evolving Melbourne; a slow, grounded hike along the Murray that reveals the river’s quieter moods; and a few days suspended in the stillness of Sequoia Lodge, where the valley does most of the talking.

From there, the country opens up. The Top End’s floodplains at Bamurru, alive and unruly. The cool hush of the Daintree at Silky Oaks, where rainforest and river negotiate their boundaries. And finally, Lizard Island — all sharp blues and reef edges — before a last chapter in Sydney, a city that has never needed an introduction but rewards a closer look.

Consider it a cross-section of Australia: refined in parts, raw in others, always with a point of view.
